The Melbourne event featured Caroline O’Connor, Amy Lehpalmer, Wayne Scott Kermond, Joel Creasey, Queenie van de Zandt and Kate Miller-Heidke alongside the MC for the Helpmann Awards, Todd McKenney, announcing these lucky nominees. The ceremony will be taking place on the set of Les Miserables in Sydney’s Capitol Theatre on Monday 27 July – but if you can’t get there it will be broadcast on Foxtel Arts.

In addition to MC Todd McKenney, the 2015 Helpmann Awards will also feature performances from Les Miserables, Once, Australian Piano Quartet and Cosentino.

With nominees as varied as Ed Sheeran, Caroline O’Connor and Opera Australia, there is literally at least one performance in the extensive list that everyone will have seen.
