Ghost’s supernatural cast announcement!
Ghost the Musical had audiences talking after the announcement of Rob Mills in the leading, Patrick Swayze-role of Sam Wheat. Now they have released the rest of their supernaturally-talented cast.
Ghost the Musical is based on the blockbuster hit Ghost starring Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore in that memorable pottery wheel scene. Since the Academy Award nominated movie from 1990, this timeless fantasy about the power of love has been transformed into a Broadway musical which is blowing audiences away with its impressive – and magical – use of ghostly technology.
Joining Rob Mills to headline this Australian tour is the wickedly supernatural Jemma Rix, who circled Australia as misunderstood, green witch Elphaba in Wicked, as Molly Jensen. Alex Rathgeber will star as Carl Bruner straight off the back of his Helpmann Award Winning performance in Anything Goes and Wendy Mae Brown rounds out the cast in the Whoopi Goldberg-role of psychic Oda Mae Brown.
Rounding out the cast of this production will be Ross Chisari as Willie Lopez, Blake Appleqvist, David Denis, Nicholas Eaton, Xander Ellis, Simon Fairweather, Samantha Hagen, Childi Mbakwe, Joshua Mulheran, Justine Puy, Elenoa Rokobaro, Monique Salle, Drew Weston and some international performers Lydia Warr and Evette White who have come directly from the US and Asian tour productions.
Ghost the Musical opens at Festival Theatre, Adelaide on the January 2016 before touring to Melbourne (Regent Theatre from 5th February), Sydney (Theatre Royal from 18th March) and Perth (Crown from 21st May).
