The Production Company’s Funny Girl

The Production Company’s 2016 season kicks off tonight with Funny Girl starring some of Australia’s best established and up-and-coming talent for a limited run of ten performances at Arts Centre Melbourne’s State Theatre.

Caroline O’Connor has briefly returned to Australia from a star turn in the Broadway-bound musical adaptation of Anastasia to reprise the role of Fanny Brice which she performed to great acclaim for The Production Company back in 1999. Joining Caroline is a host of Australia’s best talent including David Hobson as Nick Arnstein, Nancye Hayes as Mrs Brice, Susan-Ann Walker, David Ross Paterson, Luke Alleva, Greg Stone, Judith Roberts, Jan Russ, Jared Bryan, John Reed with Blake Appelqvist, Daniel Assetta and an incredibly talented ensemble featuring Amy Berrisford, Sage Douglas, Danielle Evrat, Ashleigh Hauschild, Sam Hooper, Laura Inglesi, Sophia Katos, Kiara Kieser, Jessica Lindon, Adam Noviello, Cassie O’Brien, Max Patterson, Callum Sandercock, Priscilla Stavrou, Suzanne Steele and Brooke Synnott.
